Straker Leaves For York

Midfielder Anthony Straker has declined the contract offer we gave him this summer and moved on to agree a deal with fellow League Two side York City.

He initially joined us as a left back, back in 2012 but had a frustrating first year with us. But his second season was much better form wise having been moved to left midfield.

Last season he made 47 appearances for the club, scoring six goals.

Speaking to the Official Site manager Phil Brown said.

'I would like to thank Anthony for all his efforts last season. He had a really successful season, supposedly playing out of position. I'd like to wish him well for the future at his new club.'
