Appeal Successful

Appeal Successful

Southend's appealing of Barry Corr's sending off last weekend has proved worthwhile, as the red card has been rescinded.

A straight red card, and a would have been three-match ban, was seen for violent conduct after a clash with Hartlepool's Jack Baldwin.

Southend, rightly so it has proved, contested this and will continue to have him available instantly as a result.

From time to time an appeal does prove worthwhile!
