Penny Confirmed

The anticipated arrival at Southend of Dave Penney has been confirmed.

Penney has long since been touted for a role at Roots Hall with it now confirmed by Phil Brown that he'll be working with the former Doncaster boss again with him his new assistant manager.

Bob Shaw has also been confirmed as the chief scout.

Penney brings with him a wealth of experience and should act as a good foil for The Shrimpers boss.
