'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Four Offered New Shrimpers Deals

With their contracts due to expire at the end of next month Phil Brown has moved to try and keep a quartet of players at Roots Hall.

The Southend manager has confirmed that new deals have been offered to Sean Clohessy, Gavin Tomlin, Luke Prosser and Michael Timlin.

Talking to The Echo, Brown said: 'Offers have been made to Sean, Gavin, Luke and Michael but they will be discussing everything with their representatives at the moment I expect.

'They will be putting it about that they've been offered new deals and it's really a game of cards at the moment, but we're sitting down with some very good players discussing their futures here at the club.'

Now Southend play the waiting game!
