Tomorrow Not To Be His Last?

Tomorrow Not To Be His Last?

17-players are out of contract with Southend this summer, among them is Barry Corr.

The striker has enjoyed a highly successful end to the season; an overall one that has seen him score 13-goals having returned from an 18-month injury layoff, but knows tomorrow could be his last game for the club.

Corr, as he told The Echo, is hopeful of signing a new deal though: 'I really like it here and I want to be a big part of next season.

'The manager has mentioned players will leave and he will look to bring in his own team like any manager would do but I want to be in it because we`re determined to do much better next season.'

The Irishman has come back well from his injury and I would have thought he's done enough to earn himself at least another year or two at Roots Hall but that's a decision that only Phil Brown can make!
