'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Making Amends

It's been heard before, so quite how much people will believe it remains to be seen, but Bilel Mohsni is looking make amends for his indigestions to show Southend fans what they've missed this season.

The Frenchman, as he told the official website, was disappointed by his sending off after just 27-minutes on his return: 'I was very, very disappointed after the game against Northampton because it was just a bad tackle, not anything to do with my temper.

'It was very frustrating for me and I was disappointed because the manager had asked me to come back to help and then I was suspended for three games.'

Having missed so much of the season Mohsni isn't match fit, and knows it, but has worked hard in training and hopes to be involved now that his suspension has been served and help The Shrimpers collect the points against Rotherham this weekend, adding: 'Hopefully I can be back in the team on Saturday or on the bench and help the team get three points.

'Rotherham are a very good side and will want to continue their good form, but we are at home and we need to win too.

'I think it will be a very good game. I'm really looking forward to being able to play again and hopefully I can make a difference on Saturday.'

He clearly has ability, the number of club at a higher level that have shown and interest in him wouldn't have if he didn't, but his volatile nature often gets the better of him but if he can show his best form he'll definitely offer Southend something tomorrow, and in the final weeks of the season if selected.
