Shrimpers Allow Benyon To Return To Torquay
After struggling to find the form that saw Elliot Benyon leave Torquay a few years back Southend have allowed him to return to the League Two club.
Benyon, having scored 46 goals in a three-and-a-½-year spell with The Gulls, left them for Swindon two-years ago but struggled with The Robins and joined The Shrimpers 12-months later.
The 25-year-old has only managed two goals for Southend though so far, with them almost a year ago.
Perhaps a loan return to Torquay can see the striker find his goalscoring form again, and he'll stay at Plainmoor for at least a month but there is the option to extend this for the season.
