Easton still disappointed

Easton still disappointed

Craig Easton will come head to head with his former employers Southend for the first time since his departure at the weekend.

The Torquay man, as he told The Echo, has admitted his disappointment at the way his time with The Shrimpers ended: 'It was a debacle to be honest and I thought what they offered me to stay was embarrassing after what I'd given to the club while I was there.

'They gave me a contract which was 25 per cent less than what I was previously on and there was no room for negotiation either.'

33-year-old Easton knows how football works though and has been enjoying his time with Torquay: 'That's football though and I've moved on since then and I'm looking to do well for Torquay.'

What's the chances that the midfielder will come back to haunt Southend!
