Neal (and woodwork) denies Southend

Southend 0-0 Port Vale
10th November 2012

Roots Hall

Southend should have beaten Port Vale on Saturday afternoon but had to be content with a draw at Roots Hall.

Chris Neal made a series of saves, and some of these along with both posts prevented Gavin Tomlin from giving Southend a half time lead.

Port Vale didn't threaten too much with Neal again keeping The Shrimpers at bay meaning that the game ended 0-0.
