10-man Shrimpers draw

Plymouth 1-1 Southend
29th Sept 2012
15:00
Home Park

Southend once again came from behind, although this time they couldn't come from behind to secure a win as they had to settle for a point at Plymouth. The Shrimpers also ended with 10-men.

The first half was played out without anyone breaking the deadlock.

Shortly after the break Alex MacDonald (50) put Plymouth ahead, but this lead wasn't held for long as Britt Assombalonga (54) soon equalised.

Plymouth had an effort cleared off the line before Barry Corr (who was the hero last week) saw red for Southend with time running out in the 1-1 draw.
