Plymouth v Shrimpers

29th Sept 2012
15:00
Home Park

Paul Sturrock returns to Plymouth, the club he's twice managed, with Southend on Saturday afternoon looking for a sixth win in seven games against them.

Onismor Bhasera (knock) wasn't "risked" last weekend for Plymouth and will need to prove his fitness if he's going to return to the starting XI this time.

On loan Ross Jenkins marked his impressive debut with a goal in a comeback win over Morecambe so should keep his place but Paul Wotton (groin) remains sidelined for the hosts.

Southend have Paul Smith (concussion), Mark Phillips and Gavin Tomlin (both groin) needing to prove their fitness, they're all rated "50/50" to make it.

Barry Corr and Freddy Eastwood came off the bench to score for The Shrimpers in their 2-1 win over Exeter last weekend and could force themselves into the starting XI, Eastwood is more likely.
